Membership Requirements

  • Complete and submit application along with application fee
  • Approval of Credit Committee
  • Approval of Board of Directors by a 75% majority
  • Must attend 2 of 3 annual meetings
  • Must have clear credit history
  • Must provide letter of credit
  • Must successfully complete one year of conditional membership
  • Must have electronic fund transfer capabilities
  • Must pay all NAFED bills on time
  • Must follow all NAFED rules, regulations and policies
  • Must have been in the food equipment supply/service business for 5 years
  • Must average $5,000,000 a year in overall sales
  • Must purchase stock after conditional period
  • Must fund portion of self insurance fund
  • Must comply with Annual Purchasing Mandate
