Membership Requirements
- Complete and submit application along with application fee
- Approval of Credit Committee
- Approval of Board of Directors by a 75% majority
- Must attend 2 of 3 annual meetings
- Must have clear credit history
- Must provide letter of credit
- Must successfully complete one year of conditional membership
- Must have electronic fund transfer capabilities
- Must pay all NAFED bills on time
- Must follow all NAFED rules, regulations and policies
- Must have been in the food equipment supply/service business for 5 years
- Must average $5,000,000 a year in overall sales
- Must purchase stock after conditional period
- Must fund portion of self insurance fund
- Must comply with Annual Purchasing Mandate
